Start before you’re ready. That was the recent call to action of one of the regular podcasts I listen to French Kiss Life and, part of the reason you find yourself reading this blog post today.

I’ve had two blogs before, both lifestyle, both different but the same. I lost interest in my blog though, a few years ago, even before I had my little girl. I just, didn’t like it. I’ve been thinking I would like to get back to blogging for some time and, apart from sporadic posts, I haven’t. So I thought to start a new one, but there was always something not quite ready. I hadn’t thought up the right name, I hadn’t thought of any content, there was a Y in the day of the week, you name it and I was using it as an excuse. Then, finally, after listening to that podcast, I got out of my own way, and here I am, writing a blog post on my new shiny blog.

So, let me introduce myself. I’m Louise, I am in my 30s and live in North Yorkshire . I am Mummy to an amazing little girl and also have a 14 year old dog, who is blind.

My interests are many; I knit and sew, I like style (and by that I don’t mean being a slave to fashion, yes I like a bit of current fashion as much as the next person but I also love a bit of vintage style and individuality too), I enjoy days out near and far, eating out and drinking pretentious hipster coffees.

Since this will be a lifestyle blog, my lifestyle blog, you can expect an eclectic mix of all of the above and more. I hope you will like it and that you will stick around.
